Quick-Connect Capability in Alliances

The term Quick-Connect Capability originally pertained to electronic communication standards, but can be applied to several aspects of collaboration. What enables some organisations to quickly connect with partners, quickly start to collaborate, quickly scale up and quickly disconnect with other organisations?

We have taken a first step to describing practical tools and methods to create Quick-Connect Capabilities and ar currently doing research with the Rotterdam School of Management to get data to support the links between tools, capabilities, network readiness and business agility.
